Garage Ready Upright Freezer (White), the manual and specifications are clear: The unit is plug-in ready and comes with a factory-installed power cord that connects to a standard household outlet. No, you are not supposed to wire your own power cord. The Frigidaire 7 cu. ft. upright freezer comes with a standard factory power cord and simply plugs into a normal 110–120V outlet. - Maico
