“My question can this air conditioner not collect water if it operates only on the AC or does it continually collect water and if so how much does it hold before it shuts off?”

Hi GiGi! Your dehumidifier will always collect water, being that it’s has to remove the warm air out of the room. The amount of water that it will collect, does depend on the humidity in the room. I hope this helps! – CiCi
