“Confusion about 1.7 Dehumidifier In one of the reviews a sales associate told customer that this model does not have a dehumidifier and that the 1.7 dehumidifier that is written on the box was a misprint by the manufacturer. Is this true?”

This definitely de-humidifies. I cannot measure how much but it does a great job. The moisture is removed from the air and is dripped outside from the back of the unit.
