“Follow-up to overnight operation answer. Already tried that. Did not work. Set unit at 72. Reached it. Room never warmed up overnight as temps were falling and no sun. Compressor never kicked in again. Humidity rose. Lowered to 70. Reached 70. Compressor never kicked in again. Lowered to 68. Same thing. Kept waking up and lowering. Very annoying. Where is dehumidifier that was advertised? Maybe that would help. Can't find it in manual nor do I see controls on control panel.”

Thanks for your question! I am sorry to hear about these issues. In the information available I see you purchased an air conditioner and not a dehumidifier. If this is so, the operation may be different. The window air conditioner comes with a "Sleep" function you can use to increase comfort during the night.
