“Needs a air conditioner with no more then 7 1/2 amp. But need 10000 btu to cool room. Do you have anything? I live in a old building and can not go over 7 1/2 ampts. My promble is i need a 10000 btu to cool my room. Do you have any thing to fit the bill.”

Unfortunately, the largest unit that we have that will get you under 7.5 amps is the 8000 btu unit, which comes in at 7. Any of our 10000 btu units will be at least 8.8 amps. Just to verify that yo do indeed need a 10k unit and could not get by with an 8k, you can gather all of your room information (sq ft, number of windows, celing height etc) and call 800-FRIGIDAIRE and they will be able to help you find out if the 8k unit might be able to fit your needs.
