Thanks for your question! Please note that first and foremost, this unit is an air conditioner that cools the air in your room. As it cools the air it will also extract humidity from the air and drain it in the form of condensation. The window units are not designed to have an exterior drain connection. The condensation extracted from indoors will simply drip from the exterior of the unit.
