You might be able to buy extenders from the company itself or even from a major home improvement store, but they are costly and even then didn't fully fit my 43 inch window. Wasted time. Instead position your air conditioner as close to one side as you can so at least one extender will work. Measure the other opening length and width. Head to Home Depot or Lowes and get you some Plexiglas that is a little larger than the dimensions you measured. Be sure to get a Plexiglas cutter and some clear silicone calk / calk gun while there. What you want to do is to be able to place that Plexiglas where it will cover the opening using the inside portion of the window frame and the window as a backstop to keep it from falling out. Once you have it sitting against the window covering the opening and outside elements, get your calk gun and start sealing. I did a small portion first and used something heavy to make sure it was snug against the window while it dried. Once dried and in place I went all the way around it. Basically you are using the clear silicone calk as both glue and weather proofing. Should the need ever arise for it to be removed, the calk will come up no problem. Hope it helps
