• Hello, Brendan. This model is normally recommended for spaces between 300-500 sq. ft., and you shouldn’t notice the area becoming significantly warmer unless its in a space that’s too small for adequate circulation or ventilation. Let us know if you have any other questions! ~ Hailea

• It does throw off hot air, but the size of the room will determine how much the temp will rise.
