We replaced an existing FGMV175QFA Microwave and everything matched up. To figure this ahead of time, I searched for installation instructions for both online and confirmed the bracket matched. Be careful on the vent. Hidden in the installation instructions is a way of rotating the vent fan for a vent that goes straight up vs one that goes straight back. Make sure you rotate the fan if needed for your install.

Hello! The cutout for this microwave should be 16-1/2 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and a maximum of 13 inches deep. The vent location is at the top center; you can compare the wall template of this model to your existing space. We do recommend installing it using the included brackets. ~Ashton
