We had a handyman install FGMV176NTF and it fit almost perfectly in the same space. He said he had to adjust an adjoining cabinet door but all else went smoothly. So far, everything works as described. It is much quieter than the previous microwave. The end of cooking signal is loud but does not bother us.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you end up getting this microwave? I have the same model as your old one and it was also manufactured in 2001. It died tonight and I need to replace it. I’m trying to figure out how many cubic feet it is so I can look for a new one. I’m curious if you got this one, and if so, if it worked for you. Thank you!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Size, design. brushed stainless exterior; over-the-range fit -- all good But I do not recommend this unit. Controls are more complicated than necessary, esp. the "cooking power" control; ; the instruction booklet is not clear as it should be; the touch pad is not "touch sensitive" and requires strong poking to enter cook times and temp control; the :"cook complete" beep is exceptionally loud and -- unless you hit "Stop" immediately -- the sequence repeats 3 tines. (some users might like this feature, however.) Not taking it back, but I wouldn't buy it again. Try checking more user reviews for a different make and model.with the same dimensions. Hope this is helpful...
