Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to go by your existing cutout/opening, not by what your existing microwave measures. The microwave is exactly 29 7/8" wide. A 30" cutout/opening would be a very, very snug fit. Doable, but tight. Really, the trick is to precisely measure, mark, and mount the brackets in the exact center of the narrowest part of your cabinet opening, if the opening is anything less than ~30 1/2"
