QuestionThe installation manual indicates that the mounting plate should be attached 16.5" below the bottom of the cabinet. If the microwave only measures 15.625" in height, why is the mounting plate so low? what happened to the other ~1" in height?

- Answer Its because the measurements are wrong. The height of the microwave isnt 15.625" its over 16.. almost 16.5".... one would think they would list the true measurements since we have to order and install them in a hole in an already designed kitchen. I waited 2 months for mine to be delivered and there is tile that goes just under the bottom lip of the mounting bracket ... that shouldnt have interfered if the measurements were correct.... Im guessing maybe an old version of this was 15.625" and they didnt bother updating the meaurements.. lazy ...and their explanation that there is an inch of clearance for installation at 45* is stupid. that would mean sitting on the support bracket there would be an inch gap between the top of the microwave and the bottom of the cabinet.

QuestionAfter heating up something for 3 minutes or so when I open the door a ton of steam comes out, I thought there was a fire inside. In additional the turntable glass is red hot and sometimes moisture on it,,..anyone having this issue?

- Answer Hello, Tigist. We appreciate your inquiry. Yes. This model supports three venting options: External Rear Venting: Vents through the back of the microwave to an exterior wall. External Top Venting: Vents through the top of the microwave to a duct that leads outside. Recirculating Venting: Recirculates air back into the kitchen with a charcoal filter (for kitchens without an external vent option). For outdoor venting, you’ll need to ensure your installation has the proper ducting setup to the outside, either through the top or rear of the microwave. If you are going to vent your microwave oven to the outside, see Hood Exhaust Section for exhaust duct preparation in the installation manual. We hope this information helps! - Christi

QuestionHow high does the microwave need to be above the cook top?

- Answer Hi, George786! Thank you for this inquiry. The installation instruction advised 30" (76.2 cm) minimum clearance from the top of the microwave cabinet to the surface of the cooktop. If we're going to subtract the product height of the microwave from 15 5/8", it requires 14.375 inches minimum clearance from the bottom of the microwave cabinet to the surface of the cooktop.
