A:AnswerHi there, our valued customer! The auto defrost feature provides you with the best defrosting method for frozen foods. The cooking guide will show you which defrost sequence is recommended for the food you are defrosting. For added convenience, the Auto Defrost includes a built-in beep mechanism that reminds you to check, turn over, separate, or rearrange the food in order to get the best defrost results. For instruction, kindly check page 14 of the complete owner's manual. -Chris
A:AnswerYes. Not big. I had it installed. They had to do extra because of old cabinets. I guess old cabinets have thicker wood frames than new cabinets but they did fit it and looks fine. And sturdy.
A:AnswerYes. Defrost. I think part of sensor but it is separate. Have no idea how to use. I never defrost in microwave. I assume it’s sensor or close to it. Read about it once but can not really answer it, some day I will try. Look it up on manual. You can get manual before you buy it. Just need the numbers on Best Buy site. I did.
A:AnswerNo. In fact very little moisture inside. Maybe if you put a cover over the item (the ones with vent) it might do it more. My small older counter type is doing that more and more. But not this big one. In fact no dirt or food anywhere and the glass plate not hot. The plate is. So it is working. I think you are using too much time. It’s very fast microwave. More than you think for 1,000 watts. My 1250 counter one seems slower than this one. That is over 10 years old.
A:AnswerHi Deebo! This microwave oven is designed for adaptation to the following three types of ventilation: non-vented ductless, horizontal duct, and vertical duct. -Chris
A:AnswerHi, Catalina! Thank you for this inquiry and for reaching out. This model unit does include a filtered water dispenser inside the refrigerator, but it does not have water or ice dispensing from the door. Instead, the water is dispensed from an interior compartment inside the fridge. This model is designed with a sleek, counter-depth look, providing a more streamlined appearance without the exterior water and ice dispenser that some models have. If you’re looking for a model that offers water and ice from the door, you might want to consider other Frigidaire models with that feature. ~Juan
A:AnswerNormal cooking not using sensor part but time, it beeps double time after it stops, does it twice. Maybe three but third if you leave it for 10 minutes or more. But that is after it stops. The sensor dies it when the numbers start to show like most of them. It senses for a while that you hear the peeps I think more quicker. Not sure how many times. I have heard it. But if you open to check and start it again I thinks it finishes the time on it like a normal non senses and perps when it goes thru the time. You can open and restart it till the time is over.
A:AnswerHello, Tigist. We appreciate your inquiry. Yes. This model supports three venting options:
External Rear Venting: Vents through the back of the microwave to an exterior wall.
External Top Venting: Vents through the top of the microwave to a duct that leads outside.
Recirculating Venting: Recirculates air back into the kitchen with a charcoal filter (for kitchens without an external vent option).
For outdoor venting, you’ll need to ensure your installation has the proper ducting setup to the outside, either through the top or rear of the microwave. If you are going to vent your microwave oven to the outside, see Hood Exhaust Section for
exhaust duct preparation in the installation manual. We hope this information helps! - Christi
A:AnswerInteresting. I had a GE thst had a a heavy chrome rack for convection us. And I took it out. And never tested for it. I think it said to take it out but I have no idea why. I also had full stainless steel. Neal’s and was no problem with microwave. I think it’s only if the item the food is in is metal it will spark. No what else sparks? Expensive antique china with gold or silver trim. Can’t be used in microwave. Dishwasher er fine.
A:AnswerBottom of microwave is about 10 inches minimum from stove top. Which I think means from top of microwave to bottom of the top of stove top is 27 inches. Or so. People think it needs to be up on those really high up and smallest cabinet. Not true. It’s way it is written in manual. You measure from bottom of the top cabinet to top of the stove. It’s about 27 or 30 inches. Leaves foot or more over the stove. Legal. I know. I am short. And changed my cabinets up above to use longer ones. So I can use it. Originally these short top cabinets were made to accommodate two oven or combo oven and old fashion big microwave from back in the 70’s. So that is why they made small cabinets.
A:AnswerIf it’s coming out of top. Where do you think the air is coming from. Not from inside the microwave. It’s coming from the stove under the microwave. I see the stream of steam going towards the vents in bottom. And if it suppose to be coming out of inside the microwave I have no idea how microwave works. I assume fan was there to use over stove. I don’t feel that much fan on the table top models on back. Or side. If it’s connected outside than you would not feel the the wind from the fan up above. It would be venting to outside.
A:AnswerHi Dano! This microwave oven is designed for adaptation to
