“Are you able to grab ice from the ice maker by hand or does it have to come out the dispenser on the door?”

• Technically, yes, you can grab ice from the bin. Although you do have to pull the bin out to get access to the ice. You would want to be careful pulling it out, if you drop the bin, there would be a lot of ice that will go everywhere.
