• The electric energy consumption will be slightly less because more heat goes straight into the pot. The oven cooking is the same as an electric range, the oven is just resistance heating elements.

• Yes it is far above any electric or gas stove , it’s amazing how much quicker it works , we call it our magic stove. The only caveat is you have to have cook ware that is made for induction
