I have had this stove for about a month and have not used that particular option. However, I had an electric range that was self-cleaning. In reading the manual it appears to be the same as my old stove. There is a self-cleaning feature on the control panel. Before you select that option remove the racks (if you leave them in the heat will discolor them), wipe up any residue that you may have missed after baking. Close the door, select self-clean. It takes about 3 hours and does a great job. As I mentioned earlier I can't imagine this stove would be any different. My 'old' stove was 25 years old :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Self clean works by heating the oven to 500 degrees and running at that temperature for several hours.
