• Hello Brent! The main differences between the air conditioners are Energy efficiency and the width of the window it can be installed in. Model FFRE1533S1 is Energy Star rated and model FFRE1533Q1 is not Energy Star rated. Model FFRE1533S1 can fit a window of 28-40 ½ inches wide and FFRE1533Q1 can fit a window width of 26 ½ -40 ½ inches wide. Model FFRE1533S1 will produce a decibel level of 52-56.
