“What is the best way to take film out of the packpage? I always seem to ruin it before I can use it.”

Rip the foil from the seams - or cut if you need to. The entire plastic cartridge goes into the printer so you don’t touch the film or risk ruining it. Line up the yellow lines on the cartridge and the printer to know it’s in right. It’ll automatically push out the plastic protector piece when you turn it on.
