“I see it has steam on it for selection for games, how well do steam games run on this? I'm a simulator player. Is this a better device for only consoles or does steam work just as well with console game play?”

This device will NOT natively install games. If you're looking to play steam games, xbox, ps5, etc, you would stream to it using apps like steam, xplay, etc. They work great. I use this console as a hand-held for pc and console games.

Steam games are streamed from your local PC (other device) to the Logitech G Cloud using Steam Link - the games themselves do not run on the device. That being said, streaming from Steam is no different to the Logitech G Cloud as streaming from the console or Xbox Game Pass. Performance will rely on your PC as well as network you are connected to.
