Hi Leo: I think I had an old Garmin charger that I was able to pull that out of the car charger end. I use my square end from a phone charger, pull out that cord and put in the old rest of the cord with the end that will fit into the Garmin. Most of the new phones you have the square that fits into the wall, and you can pull out the cord and put in a cord with the end that they need to charge it with. Maybe you can buy the cord with the end that will work in the Garmin. You'll have to see if Best Buy has such an animal. Can't remember if I had an old one or if I had to buy one from them. I would go in one of the Best Buy floors and explain what you need. If they have it then you will be up and running. Hope that helps a bit. Good Luck.
