QuestionWill this unit take an SD card? I like to download Canada at times on the card. Also, does it have all of the United States on it? My current model has an SD card slot for when I've traveled to Texas.

- Answer Yes, there is a microSD card slot to expand the memory for larger maps. The size of card needed for adding additional maps is from 4GB SD up to a 32GB card. This GPS arrives pre-loaded with detailed maps of the lower 49 U.S. states. QuestionWhich Garmins have voice and do you need a smart phone with all of these. Just want something simple and not complicated? The more features the more complicated.

- Answer This model provides audible turn-by-turn directions, including street names. To access the live traffic a smartphone is needed or If you don’t have a smartphone, a Garmin GTM 36™ can be purchased to access the traffic feature.

- Answer No activation or programming is needed. Simply plug in the traffic receiver and the Garmin device will route around accidents, construction and other obstacles to save you time.
