• Yes, a phone with data plan is needed for the Live Traffic provided by the Smartphone Link app. If you don’t have a Smartphone, the device is compatible with the GTM™ 36 Traffic Receiver (010-01009-02).

• Garmin gps comes with cable to plug into your computer. You will have to load Garmin express to get updates. Very simple process
