“Will this work on the mountains? I’m take a long road trip and want a back up navigation system when we are in limited service areas. I want to make sure this system works when we are crossing.”

• My experience in the mountains ( east US) is that in certain places it cuts in and out. But so does the GPS that is installed in our GMC truck.
