“Does the suction cup work on a plastic dash? Or should I get the Garmin mounting cup separately which I think is more heavy duty? The mounting surface curves slightly in the car were I want to mount this unit.”

• The Garmin Portable Friction Mount, part number 010-10908-02, a compatible alternative to use in place of the Suction Cup mount.
