Does this unit work well for semi drivers? null

I would think so. My husband travels weekly for business but the company car doesn't have GPS, so this has been really helpful for him.

Just enter your truck profile (customizable by height, weight, length, width and hazardous materials) to find truck-preferred routes best suited for your rig and load.

No. It does not have any truck routes. As in bridge weight limits, narrow roads etc avoidance. Excellent for auto at $150. I like it because it has traffic receiver in cable. No need to use Garmin App and burn up cell data. Can use either way.
