• The Drive Smart feature is on the GPS and does not require any app or data. It tells you when reduced speed areas come up or a traffic delay is ahead so you can go an alternate route.

• Good question. Many of the DriveSmart features will work without being connected to the SmartPhone app. The SmartPhone app allows you to access real-time information such as weather and traffic conditions and customizable smart notifications. The amount of cellular data used by Smartphone Link services is generally minimal, but it does vary depending on a variety of factors such as: Time used with the automotive device and amount of reported traffic information.
