“What model number traffic antenna comes with the Garmin Drivesmart 60LTM (North America)? Can it be bought if the original is damaged? I can't find out on Garmin's site. I know this is the 61LMT, but I can't find a good place to ask.”

The 61 LMT uses the app garminlink to supply traffic info. So you use your cellphone as the antenna. The website says you can buy a separate antenna but the garminlink has been relatively accurate displaying traffic info.

Please try again later.THE 60 LM I DO NOT KNOW BUT I HAVE THE 61 LMT-S DRIVE SMART THE Same thing and the cord as you stated is Garmin GTM 60 HD Digital Traffic Receiver Garmin is absurd at asking 69.99$ for it when you can get them on ebay for 40$ you can also use the gtm 35 ill find you the info if you look thru the 1 star reviews Garmin responded by stating that no we do NOT INCLUDE A TRAFFIC CABLE AS NOW YOU USE THE SMART LINK APP . I did that only in my house using internet not my data and downloaded it i must say opposed to the cord the traffic , weather and more came in under 2 seconds , But it , meaning the drive smart app is always on , on your phone . Ill explain better if your with friends at a restaurant and there for an hour or 2 well the Garmin app is using your data and telling your phone the weather and traffic every second and updates every 5 minutes , so figure 1 day driving around local in your car and just having the navi on and it connected to check out the features you must have Bluetooth enabled , which most cars have now integrated into the steering wheel and play over your speakers not a 2" speaker, Well the Garmin overrides the vehicle and makes you use its Bluetooth another reason to have the gtm 60 traffic cable . In closing ill say this i have an old model dont know what year but at least 3 to 5 years old and it came with what today looks like just a charger but is a traffic cord (no it is not compatible with this new device i wish) As I was saying i got it of Craigslist for 30$ and the battery lasts 4 to 5 hrs opposed to 1 but the resolution is nowhere close to as nice and it came with a traffic cable and a cable to connect it to the laptop for maps . The problem now with that is you must call Garmin to get map updates if you do not have this wifi navi . I tried to do this for my wife and they were not only rude but also hung up on my wife after telling her on a nuvi 2555 LMT she had to pay for the maps ... CROOKS luckily i updated them last year and the latest update is still the same
