Hi Cedric, I haven't tried through Bluetooth, but you can enter the grid location manually and it will route you there, as close as it can for a car. If you want to use it for hiking, consider a different model with hiking maps. We have a Montana 610t which works great for hiking and geocaching. This one is best for vehicle routing.
