Thank you for providing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your DriveSmart DriveSmart 61 LMT-S will not turn on. A soft reset may resolve this issue. Connect the device to a power source with a USB cable, vehicle power cable, or an AC adapter. Press and hold the power button/power switch in the on position for 8-10 seconds. If the device still will not power on, Garmin Product Support would be happy to offer additional assistance. In response to this issue I also have this exact same Garmin GPS and have absolutely zero problems period ! After set up I updated the maps using the new BUILT IN WIFI which worked great ! Screen is amazing and GPS is overall fast when calculating directions. Return the defective one and get a new one and you won't look back !
