When you are actually at the location, you can go into the menu and get the actual GPS location of where you are. Save that GPS location and name it your destination then go there in the future using your Saved locations. 

(So far I've found this Garmin to be extremely accurate with any GPS address.)

double check the address. I had that problem a couple of time only to discover that the headquarters address was different than the event location. Gps sent me headquarters.

While the GPS is ready to use out of the box, we would suggest checking for any map and software updates that may have been made available while the device was in transit and on the retailer’s shelf.
