“I am concerned that a 7 inch screen on top of the dashboard will block too much of my road vision. Can the suction device be used on somewhere besides the top of the dashboard?”

I chose a different route. I purchased a device that holds the GPS in one of the cup holders. It has worked out well, and although I have to take my eyes off the road for a second to view it, the unit is big enough to see quickly.
