“Does the unit have any kind of battery life without being connected/plugged into a car power source or does it require a source of power at all times while in use? Can it be charged/and and then left unplugged to nav? If so, how long is the battery life?”

• It does operate on battery, but I'm not sure for how long as l haven't used it that way.
