While some previous models provided an audible prompt when it is "recalculating", the Garmin DriveSmart™ 76 does not. However, the device will display the word Recalculating at the top of the screen if a turn is missed or if you choose to drive away from the intended route. Additionally, the device's audio can be played through a vehicle's stereo system either by connecting using Bluetooth or via an Aux cable.
