It comes with a golf activity tracker built in, but the display may be a bit small for some.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a dedicated golf widget that uses GPS and Glosnas to show you the distance to next hole. Takes sometime to get used to the fact that screen is not a touch screen and all controls are through physical buttons but after some time this is even better because you do not run into a problem of wrong responses from the screen due to moisture like other watches do. As for reading the screen so far my favorite, the brighter the sun the easier it is to read, you need to activate the screen at night where there is no other sources of light, at all other conditions very easy to read.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Fenix does a great job of providing the information you need to take you next shot, mainly due to it's large screen size and great color capability. Courses are downloaded through the Garmin Connect app, and you only download the courses you need. The only downside is the Fenix is larger and heavier than Garmin's golf specific watches. This might have an effect on your swing, but then again, it might not even bother you. When I'm golfing I take the Fenix off and stick with my Approach S6.
