As long as the Forerunner 10 has acquired satellites and you are recording, yes, it will track speed. You can upload your data later to Garmin Connect for viewing. Keep in mind that the Forerunner 10 is designed for running, so any metrics beyond speed, distance and pace may be irrelevant. -LB
