The device does not have a 'Swim' profile, however, it would use the Move IQ feature to automatically detect the activity as long as you've swam for 10 minutes and it recognizes that is the movement you are doing. The event type and duration could be viewed on your Garmin Connect timeline but it wouldn't appear in your activity list, snapshot or newsfeed. Debbie with Garmin
