QuestionWll this gps work in mexico? I bought it thinking it would... but ther's no mexico maps pre installed any answers??

- Answer The nuvi 57LMT comes preloaded with mapping of the lower 48 United States and Hawaii only. A separate map of Mexico can be purchased and added to the device. The map product needed to do this is called City Navigator Mexico NT. -MH

QuestionIs the Traffic Update feature in the Nuvi57lm the same or similar to the Traffic routing service in the ChevyLynk in my in-dash navigation that is serviced through SiriusXM? Does it reroute my route as traffic conditions change?

- Answer We cannot speak on behalf of exactly how other products work but our traffic alerts work on an FM band, they will alert the device of traffic that is up coming and give the option of an alternative route if one is applicable. ~JH

QuestionI have a GARMIN 57LMT .... And I have explicitly put in an address in downtown Los Angeles on 3rd Street ... It always takes me to 5 thousand something on Manchester in Inglewood... What is happening?

- Answer No, the nüvi 57LMT only includes the lower 49 states. It does not include Canada or Alaska. The nüvi 58LMT is the exact model, expect it includes Alaska and Canada. ~JH

- Answer No, the Drive, DriveAssist, DriveSmart, and DriveLuxe models with LMT at the end are newer and include lifetime traffic and mapping updates. ^DK

QuestionCan your Bluetooth enabled GPS receive addresses from a paired Cell phone?Either by Address, City, State or from a Google business or White Pages phone search. So that we won't have to key in the Address destination. Or maybe there's an App that does this?

- Answer Hello, While the nuvi 57LMT is not Bluetooth-enabled and you won't be able to do this through a Google service, it is possible to send a location from an Apple or Android Smartphone to a Garmin device using the Garmin Smartphone Link application.
