• I has GPS s that still work 10 years later. There no reason they will not last.

• I have had this gps for month and used it quite a bit due to travel extensively lately. Has gotten me where I needed to go with out issues. I did have another gps for years before upgrading. So my answer would be that this gps would last you many years if it is maintained properly.
