Does the Nuvi 57lm show maps in 3D? null

That would depend on what you mean by "3D". The image on the Best Buy website is an accurate depiction of the screen. On the left is an over the shoulder perspective with defined roads, the right is the junction view (more 3D) that is only visible approximately one mile before you pass the junction. The device will not show buildings or terrain in 3D. \tw/
