is this gps good for us canada and mexico null

Great question! The nūvi 57LM comes with mapping for the Lower 49 States. We have models with U.S, U.S and Canada and North America. To get a device with Canada and Mexico included you would need North America. The 5 inch model that would work for you is the Garmin DriveSmart™ 50LMT. The product number for this is 010-01539-01.
