Thank you for your question. The vehicle power cable that connects to the magnetic mount is a special proprietary cable specifically designed for the magnetic mount for the RV 890/895/1090/1095. That cable does not connect to any other ports and no other type of cable can be inserted the magnetic mount. The RV 1090 featured a micro USB port on the side of the device to connect the device to a computer and the RV 1095 features a USB Type C port on the side to the connect the device to the computer. A USB Type C cable is included with the device.
