It's a piece of cake to install. I bought the suction cup option from Garmin so I can quickly change between multiple vehicles. The main unit is the camera and lane sensor... it's actually very accurate, which means that every time you even get close to the other lane it beeps...you may actually feel a strong desire to turn it off if you drive a larger vehicle like an SUV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes 15 minutes to install. It may take longer if hiding the cable is difficult. But, in most cases it’s extremely easy. The built in camera provides lane assist automatically, but this only kicks in at 40 mph. Land assist is designed primarily for highway driving. It works quite well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s not hard to install. The only part that takes some time ls hiding the very long cable it comes with. When you set it up, it asks you to center it. While driving the camera senses the lane and gives you a warning. It’s pretty accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So does this only detect the lane itself or does it detect vehicles that are in your blind spot?
