• I am a lap swimmer too and I have used it without any problems. I love it when I tells me to move when I take a small break in swimming or aquajogging.

• The vívosmart can be worn in the water. It is not 100% waterproof, however it has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, which means it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters. Please keep in mind that while it can be worn in water, it is not designed to provide swimming data - only walking, running and cycling (with the use of speed and cadence sensors). -LB

• Yes. This VivoSmart is very good in water. If I'm not mistaken, there may be a place in the app or on the Garmin PC dashboard to adjust for swim settings.

• Yes the vivosmart is water resistant, you shouldn't have an issue with swimming, but watch how deep you swim..
