It will vibrate after 1 hour of inactivity, and again after 2 hours. After that, it no longer vibrates for inactivity until you move enough to reset it. You have to walk around for about a minute to reset after the first hour, and about 2-3 minutes after the second hour. I does not vibrate in sleep mode, so you don't have to worry about it waking you up in the middle of the night telling you it is time to move.
