- Answer The vivoactive 3 will be able to display speed for mountain biking or skiing, but it will not calculate 3D speed like the fenix 5 series. This is not a feature that is available on the vivoactive 3.

- Answer You do not have to pair the watch to your phone or set up wifi for it to work. We do recommend syncing with your computer for software updates if you are not using the Connect mobile app to sync your data. You can use a program called Garmin Express to sync with on your computer for updates. Debbie with Garmin

- Answer Setting an Abnormal Heart Rate Alert You can set the device to alert you when your heart rate exceeds a certain number of beats per minute (bpm) after a period of inactivity. You cannot set a high and low target. Debbie with Garmin

- Answer No. That was the reason I upgraded to the venu. The vivoactive3 does not have the ability to store music. Its supposed to be like a remote and change volume fwd and back and that worx sometimes.
