• Yes, using a 3rd party service like Strava. There may be others but that's what I use. Via the Garmin connect app your workout can be automatically uploaded to Strava which can use the GPS info to map your route and elevation and pace and heartrate.

• If you are doing a GPS activity the map data will display after uploading to Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile.
