i installed the beta version of the connect app,and it shows calories burned per day. in fact it breaks them in at rest and active. The watch-face I downloaded (not the one that comes with the watch) also shows calories, though not divided by active and at rest the last part i do not know

The my day screen on the vivoactive 3 will be able to display the number of calories burned. The vivoactive 3 will track the weekly Intensity Minutes on the watch, and a daily breakdown can be viewed in the Reports section of Garmin Connect.
