Is this watch fully water proof and resistant null

It has an ATM 5 water rating. You cannot dive with the watch but you can swim with it. Please be sure you do not press buttons while emersed in any water.

it is water resistant, though the watch face cracked after two months and I haven't tried since since Garmin will NOT replace or fix the watch face and getting it wet voids the year warranty
