Do you need a phone to access (or even use) this watch? I'm trying to find a watch that I do not need a phone for, but will track runs and heartrate and you can see the information on the watch. null

I would say you can use the Vivo Active 5 without a phone. I've had mine for almost a year and for some reason, I can't even get it to notify me with my texts and stuff and it's still keeping track of my steps, heart rate and sleep.

You need a phone to run this usefully. What you're looking for will be hard to find and cost a pretty penny. Good Luck.
