“How does it react when wet? as far as the "touch" functions? i've had a few garmin watches and have the forerunner 405 now, however if it gets wet from say rain, or sweat it starts reacting as if your touching the bezel, does this watch use the same "touch" features instead of buttons?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any issues with the watch responding on its own when the touchscreen is wet. The touchscreen also responds as it should when wet [wetness does not interfere with "presses" or "swipes"].
